Too many people in this world are denied the right to a formal education. Over 700 million adults are completely illiterate. Formal educations such as basic things like primary (elementary) and secondary schools (middle-high schools) that we take for granted are badly needed for the children. So that, they can grow-up with a chance of becoming successful in life and being financially secure. Also those in developed countries are sometimes just slightly more well off. Billions of dollars of funding have been taken away, or withheld, from needy schools. Budget cuts and failed levies have also taken their toll.
